    Professional Insurance Fund (PIF)

The PIF is set up to help fund Life and Income Continuance insurances.

The Company provides an initial sum per member to the fund that provides an initial level of cover. The member then has the ability to increase that cover as they wish.

FANZP currently uses Willis Insurance Brokers to arrange our Life and Income Continuance insurances. By working through a broker as a group we are able to facilitate levels of cover not ordinarily available to an individual.

    Life Insurance.

Basic Life cover of $200,000 is provided to the member to age 45 after which it reduces by $10,000 per annum. The member can increase this cover with Willis advising of any medical requirements and the premium costs involved. Currently this cover is provided through Sovereign Insurance.

    Income Continuance.

Income Continuance allows for 50% of your notional salary to be paid for a period of two years at not cost to the member. This can be increased by the member to a maximum of 75% capped at $240,000. This is currently an AXA/AMP policy.
